A few years ago, just as distracted driving laws were first being introduced in some Canadian provinces, Allstate hit the streets to ask people “What’s the craziest driving distraction you’ve ever seen? And what are some of the excuses you hear for driving with distractions?” Here’s what they told us:

Years later, even following numerous public awareness campaigns pointing to the dangers of driving with distractions and when all Canadian provinces and territories (excluding Nunavut) now have some form of distracted driving law in place, most of us continue to see cases of distracted driving on our roads every day. So what’s it going to take for drivers to get the message?
